With permanent dental implants, Dr. Livingstone can give patients a replacement for their missing teeth that looks, feels, and performs just like a natural tooth.
Dental implants are some of the latest technology available for restorative dentistry, and have already helped millions of adults finally get the look and function from their smile that they desire. Dental implants can be used to replace one singular missing tooth, or in the case of denture patients, can be used to replace entire top and bottom arches of teeth.

Dental implants involve two main elements that allow them to function like a natural tooth. The implant itself is a small metal stud, or screw, that is surgically inserted into the patient’s jawbone in the void of the permanent tooth or teeth. This implant is given several weeks to heal as it also naturally fuses to the jawbone. Once healed, Dr. Livingstone then attaches a custom-made crown to the implant that is the proper shape, shade, and size that the patient desires. Once completed, the implant is just as strong—or in some cases, even stronger—than a natural tooth and can be cleaned just like a natural tooth as well.
Beyond placing implants, Dr. Livingstone offers a variety of other dental services to help patients get the best smile possible.
