Aging Skin Throughout our lives our facial contour and skin structure is ever changing due to aging, nutrition and the environment. Our skin develops fine lines and wrinkles as well as discolorations. It loses elasticity and moisture due to a compromised skin barrier, which result in dry, scaly skin. Conventional anti-aging creams and serums unfortunately remain only superficial remedies and cannot deliver their active ingredients to the necessary therapeutic depth.
What is Jetpeel? Jetpeel is unique in both, the cosmetic and medical industries in that it combines compressed gases (air, medical O2 or CO2) with customizable treatment serums or medications to form a high-pressure aerosol stream of microdroplets. These droplets are then delivered 4 mm (1/8”) deep into the skin at a speed of 447 mph (720 km/h), without causing any injury to the epidermis.
Jetpeel should not be compared with traditional skin therapies, such as dermabrasion using water, sand or salt or even mesotherapy and peels. These either work solely on the surface of the skin or employ needles and do cause injury to the epidermis.
How Does Jetpeel work? During exfoliation the aerosol jet stream passes over the skin at a 45 degree angle, in order to remove dead skin cells and to perform a deep cleansing of the pores.
During the infusion (hydroporation) step, medications or anti-aging serums are delivered at a 90 degree angle to the skin surface. The jet stream stretches the skin surface forming the signature “JetPeel dimple”. The skin’s water micro-channels (Aquaporins) are opened so that the skin nutrients can penetrate deep into the skin, reaching the reticular dermis.
Once the pressure subsides, the skin surface levels out, the micro-channels close, and the skin nutrients disperse homogeneously between the tissue’s collagen fibers.
The penetration depth and degree of exfoliation are determined by the hand piece’s angle and distance to the skin surface.
Treatment Applications – 4 Steps to Beautiful Skin
1. Lymphatic Drainage – JetPeel’sTM cooling jet stream of micro-droplets effectively stimulates the skin’s micro-circulation and oxygenation, while removing accumulated toxins and edema.
2. Exfoliation and Deep Cleaning – The aerosol stream cleanses pores while, at the same time, hydrating the skin. Even stubborn impurities such as comedones are removed without injury to the epidermis.
3. 3-D Chemical Peel – Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids are gently infused to “unglue” the bonds holding dull, dead skin on the surface. Simultaneously, the skin’s pH is changed to a slightly acidic environment that keeps out harmful bacteria and prepares the skin for the absorption of skin nutrients.
4. Infusion of Medications and Skin Nutrients – During this final step, the aerosol jet stream of skin nutrients and medications is aimed at a 90 degree angle to the skin for maximum penetration. Hyaluronic acid, peptides, vitamins, stem cells (plant and analogous), hair restoration products or medications can now be delivered up to 4 mm (1/8”) deep into the skin.

Low viscosity skin nutrients have been especially formulated for the Jetpeel device to ensure easy transport though the fine nozzles of each patented hand piece. These therapeutic skin nutrients must also be able to hold up to the high pressure and speed of 720 km/h (447 mph) without losing their integrity and potency.
