Under Dr. Fjeldsted’s ownership, La Mesa Hills Dentistry remains the same family-oriented, well respected practice patients have come to know.

Located in La Mesa, California, La Mesa Hills Dentistry (formerly Michels Family Dental) is a multi-specialty dental practice providing routine dental care as well as services including cosmetic dentistry, dental bridges, root canals, dental implants, periodontal therapy, orthodontics and teeth whitening. Dr. Paul Fjeldsted, a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Diego Dental Society, is well- versed in all the specialty services offered.

A graduate of the University of Southern California Dental School, Dr. Fjeldsted completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. His training in biomimetic dentistry allows him to use the latest technology to implement conservative and preventative procedures. Dr. Fjeldsted’s goal is to establish a relationship of trust with all his patients by understanding their individual needs and expectations.
