Jul 02, 2014 /prREACH/ -- June 30, 2014 (San Diego, CA)-- Social entrepreneurship. It is a new model for charitable giving. The idea behind it, that "entrepreneurs can save the world", is rapidly catching on; the subject has, of late, been on the cover of Forbes, Inc. Magazine, and Harvard Business Review, which declared that social entrepreneurship "will become the most dynamic business model of this millennium".

EMSquared is based on this same new model of charitable giving. Social entrepreneurship combines the unique product technologies and cash flow of a for-profit company, with the heart, passion and purpose of a not-for- profit organization, to provide sustainable solutions for the world's biggest problems: hunger and malnutrition.

The major cornerstone to this new model is to provide financial returns for the millions of entrepreneurs and consumers who choose to help champion a cause. This method can convert a multitude of compassionate consumers into a dynamic movement for global change.

Real Estate World Wide (REWW) CEO Kent Clothier, and CIO Heather O'Brien began making donations and taking humanitarian trips to Haiti in late 2012. Deeply affected and inspired by what they saw there, they decided to embark upon their own journey to create a charitable organization. The Time is Now Foundation was thus formed in early 2013.

After seeing an inspirational TED Talk by Dan Pallotta entitled "The Way We Think About Charity is Dead Wrong" Clothier was moved to broaden his thinking around charity and the way we go about philanthropy. Of the new model for charitable works, Clothier said, "With this new model, I believe that FINALLY we can create good systems and infrastructure for fund-raising and sustainability; at last we will be able to get the money and resources to the people that need it the most".

Clothier has joined forces with EM Squared, bringing The Time Is Now Foundation a step closer to attaining the global reach they aspire to.

In an open letter to board members, clients, associates, and students, Clothier said, "After visiting 3rd world countries and seeing the effects of poverty first hand, I'm convinced that entrepreneurs are the key to eradicating poverty and malnutrition all over the world. With our resources, we can truly make an impact, just by sending a few emails and doing what we do best."
