    Tecademics Announces Sale of Digital Marketing Curriculum to IQUP.COM

    Scottsdale, AZ (February 23, 2018) – Tecademics, LLC, the international leader in accelerated retention education and developer of SSP™ (Systematic Path Process) for the digital marketing trade, today announced governing board approval for the sale of proprietary technology and curriculum to IQUP.COM.

    Tecademics, LLC, a leading content creator and curator of digital marketing education, entered into a binding letter of intent with IQUP.COM on August 21, 2017. Terms set out in the LOI called for due diligence and finalization of an Asset Sale and Purchase agreement within 60 days. Due to the complexity of the transaction, the Tecademics, LLC management committee extended the closing date into Q1 – 2018.

    Tecademics, LLC was founded in June 2016. Since inception, Tecademics, LLC has developed 16 digital marketing Success Paths™ including 71 courses, producing 400 hours of education with an emphasis on emerging trends such as e-commerce, social media, agency startup, digital asset brokering, email marketing, SEO, print on demand, and pay-per-click advertising. In January 2017, Tecademics opened its 24,000 square foot campus in Scottsdale, Arizona and has hosted 20 weeks of education for its students. Tecademics’ proprietary technology offers students a digital video portal with 33 courses, over 200 hours of education strategically partitioned into specific core competencies.

    IQUP.COM, a TecEd startup company, is a consortium of business leaders with extensive digital marketing, education and entrepreneurial expertise and experience, focused on offering micro-certifications to established higher education institutions. Mark A. Gaalaas, President of IQUP Sales Group, LLC and spokesperson for the consortium states, “the acquiring of the curriculum and technology of Tecademics gives IQUP.COM a significant head start in providing quality digital marketing micro-certifications to colleges, universities and trade schools in the US and abroad.” IQUP.COM is currently in final negotiations with several educational institutions and plans to announce partnerships in the first quarter of 2018. “Higher education needs practical, relevant, and applicable digital marketing curriculum, and digital marketing needs the sophistication and professionalism of higher education. It is a match made in heaven,” states Mr. Gaalaas. “The prospect of partnering with educational institutions to offer our education to their students is very exciting for IQUP.COM.”

    IQUP.COM will continue to offer the Tecademics developed total IMMERSION and SPRINT education paths in digital marketing. Additionally, IQUP.COM has a strategic plan to release dozens of additional courses in digital marketing, cybersecurity, and data science subjects over the next 2 years. Within the terms of the Asset Sale and Purchase agreement, Tecademics’ founders negotiated pre-paid scholarships for all current and former tuition-based Tecademics students, giving those students unlimited digital access to all current and future courses of IQUP.COM. Each former tuition-based student of Tecademics will receive a private password-protected student learning portal so they will have access to all digital content. IQUP.COM will be releasing the spring-summer 2018 schedule for all live and streaming classes on April 1, 2018.

    As part of the Asset Sale and Purchase Agreement terms, IQUP.COM tendered employment and contract offers to the primary human resource group at Tecademics. Phillip Lechter, former President of Tecademics, now CEO of IQUP.COM, states, “we are happy to announce most of the personnel from sales, marketing, technology and administration decided to join us here at IQUP.COM. I know that keeping the team intact was a major focus in the transaction by both parties.”

    In a separate transaction, IQUP.COM has acquired a revolutionary, proprietary, live-streaming technology that offers the student the ability to view the instructor’s computer screen live simultaneously with the live lecture video camera feed. The proprietary dual embed code live streaming technology allows the student to switch between the instructor’s computer screen and the classroom camera, both in live and archived formats. This revolutionary proprietary technology allows for live classes to be archived for student view immediately following the live stream. Additional features allow for the students to ask questions during the live class, and allows all students logged into the class the ability to “like” the question, assisting the instructor in setting learning priorities for all student questions. The platform incorporates micro-learning, assessments, and a variety of student activities that can be monitored live or digitally.
