Jan 16, 2018 /prREACH/ -- The International School of Hospitality (TISOH), located in Las Vegas, Nevada begins the Spring semester on January 22, 2018 with courses in meeting planning, hotel management, event design, wedding coordination, concierge, human resources, leadership and more. Most courses are 12-weeks long and are offered in the evening and online. Students may also choose a more intensive fast track option, with 5-week long courses offered during the daytime. All courses have a low student-to-instructor ratio and are taught by credentialed professionals who work in the hospitality industry.

TISOH is an accredited and highly-regarded career training school for individuals who wish to pursue careers in the field of hospitality. Students may earn a Diploma in Hotel Operations or Hospitality Operations, with emphases in Conference Management, Event Management, Hotel Operations and Concierge Services, and Wedding Coordination and Design. Certificate programs include Conference Management and Event Planning, Event Design and Production, Meeting and Event Catering, Hospitality Leadership and Supervision, Hospitality Marketing and Sales, Hospitality Human Resources, Hotel Operations, Art of Concierge, Exhibitions and Tradeshow Management, and Wedding Coordination and Design.

To enhance classroom education, TISOH offers students over 1,000 hours of externship opportunities each semester. Externships provide hands-on, real world experience and training to students. Externships are part time and work in conjunction with student’s schedules. TISOH actively places students into externships. Online students may choose to visit Las Vegas to experience an externship or may request the school to provide an introduction for them to source an externship in their home city.

Students enrolled in Diploma programs receive access to a comprehensive suite of career services. Available from the beginning of enrollment, these services help prepare students for a new career, or to advance established careers. In addition, TISOH also has an active alumni association.

The International School of Hospitality is located in southeast Las Vegas on a 9,000-square foot campus. The site includes classrooms, a lecture hall, a computer lab, lounges, a photo/video studio, and a special events design lab. Additionally, there is a hotel operations lab with a front desk for students to learn and practice guest interactions. TISOH students also enjoy a welcome center, a student lounge, a courtyard, and conference rooms.

TISOH has earned accreditation from the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training and is an Academic Partner of the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute. The school is licensed by the Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education and VA approved.
