Aug 18, 2014 /prREACH/ -- Stefanie Blue, a San-Diego based portrait and commercial photographer, will be hosting a photography cruise in April 2015.  This fun-filled, cruise is aboard the Crown Princess, a premier cruiseship with top-notch amenities, and will sail the Mexican Riviera round-trip from Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas.

Stefanie, owner of TRUE BLUE Vision and TRUE BLUE Portrait Design, has had a passion for travel and photography, which dates back to her childhood when she got her first camera and took many long summer vacations across America with her family.  Her wanderlust has only grown over time.  She has won awards for her travel and fine art photography.  And now she is excited to set sail with photography seminars at sea.

On this 7-day cruise, there will be a Bon Voyage Meet-and-Greet happy hour to get things started, and allow for everyone to mix and mingle.  Photography workshops are scheduled the first two days at sea, and will focus on photography terms and lingo, composition, lighting, camera basics, including capabilities and limitations of DSLRs, point-and-shoot, as well as cell phone cameras.

After two days of learning at sea, students will be prepared to practice their new skills in each of the three exotic ports:  Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas.  A featured excursion is included with each participant's registration.  Excursions include city highlights, cathedrals, a tequila distilleria and hacienda, and more.

As students put their training in practice, Stefanie will be on hand to offer guidance, tips, and suggestions.  On our last night, there will be a Cocktails and Critiques gathering, where students can submit their favorite photos for review.

Spouses, friends, or family members accompanying photography participants are eligible for a reduced cruise rate.
