Jul 18, 2014 /prREACH/ -- Alaboard.com launches a family command center to help busy families get and stay organized. Now days families are pulled in many different directions, with school, sports, and other activities which makes it difficult to organize schedules and tasks. Marianne Howard a busy mother of 4 girls decided to take action.
"Having 4 girls of my own with their busy schedules, I needed something that they family as a whole could reference so that each of us knew what was happening. I was also tired of answering the…. what are we doing today, and what's for dinner questions." said Marianne. “At first, it started off as just a calendar, which was great, but I was still getting the… what’s for dinner questions and I had to hound the girls everyday to do their chores.”
Next, she had the vision of the command center, which included a menu, notes section, calendar, chore charts, and a weekly calendar for the day to day schedules. Each item would provide each member of the family instant access to the week’s events, tasks, and schedules. After looking around to try to find something to fit her needs for this command center, Marianne realized that most of the organizational tools were boring, ugly, or too plain.
Since the command center needed to be prevalent in the home to be most effective, she realized it needed to be decorative and stylish so that it would add to the beauty of the home. With the alaboard.com command center families can organize themselves and decorate their home at the same time.
Once kids get home from school or mom and dad get home from work, they can easily reference the command center to know what to eat, if they have any appointments, or if there are any tasks that need to be done.
“It has changed our lives, my relationship with my children is better because I am not getting frustrated with them all the time, and they know exactly what they need to do before they can go play with their friends” states Marianne.
Alabaord.com isn’t done adding to its command center but with what is accessible right now it can improve the families organization and help take some stress of today’s busy lifestyle.
