Handel, cosmetic and dental implants dentist in Wayne, PA recently introduced Botox as an available treatment for patients at Wayne Dental Care to enhance their facial aesthetics. Typically used by plastic surgeons, Dr. Handel now offers this treatment to patients—along with Restylane and Radiesse—to perfectly frame their new smile.
Prior to being used for a cosmetic treatment, Botox was used as an effective method to treat facial pain and TMJ disorder. Throughout their professional training, dentists receive advanced education about the musculature and anatomy of the face, making them highly qualified candidates to administer Botox and other dermal fillers to treat smile lines.

Botox and dermal fillers like Restylane and Radiesse are administered in quick, minimally invasive procedures with small needles. All products are FDA-approved and report little to no side effects.
Botox treatments last between 4-6 months and works to relax the muscles causing the fine lines and wrinkles apparent in patient’s faces.
