Apr 03, 2014 /prREACH/ -- Dr. Marc Zive of Court Street Family Dentistry is happy to announce that a full selection of advanced dental technologies and techniques is now available at his Westfield, Massachusetts practice. Dr. Zive has incorporated the latest advancements in 3D imaging for use in implant, crown and restorative procedures. His office also features state-of-the-art orthodontic techniques and equipment, providing patients with a new smile in only six months. Dr. Zive’s use of these advanced dental techniques has made modern dentistry a more convenient, comfortable, efficient and cost-effective experience for his patients. Court Street Family Dentistry is now employing a full array of the most advanced dental solutions in the field for their patients of all ages.

Katie Creran, Dental Assistant at Court Street Family Dentistry, says, “Our goal is to provide quality, safe and convenient solutions to our patients, and make sure they have a positive experience even when they come in for the most complex procedures. Our array of state-of-the-art technology, materials and techniques help to ensure a comfortable, prompt resolution to their needs, whether it’s for our older patients or our youngest ones. Equipment like the GALILEOS® 3D Cone Beam CT, which allows us to construct a three dimensional model of the patient’s teeth, jaw and skull, or the CEREC®system for streamlined, computer aided design precision crowns and restorations, make the patient experience more consumer-friendly than ever before.”

These improvements are made possible in no small part by the use of Computer Assisted Dentistry (CAD). CAD allows for ceramic crowns, veneers and fillings to be computer designed and precision crafted during the patient’s office visit. The process removes the need for mercury and eliminates the “black metal line” at the gum. There are no temporary fixtures used and the process can be completed in one visit.
