May 15, 2014 /prREACH/ -- North American Youth Sports (NAYS) of Green Bay, Wisconsin is happy to announce seasonal discounts for youth basketball tournaments for the spring and summer 2014 seasons. Historically, many schools and associations have taken advantage of the package discounts offered for summer NAYS events when coupling them with the national NAYS tournament, while some teams have participatedin just season or the other. With that in mind, and to provide increased flexibility, NAYS is expanding their program to offer package discounts to individual teams who attend 2 or more spring tournaments, as well as other clubs, schools and groups that bring more than one team to one or more spring tournaments. This allows NAYS to replace the “buy three, get one free” spring package with the increased the savings of the new program, regardless of which tournaments are chosen.

The same type of offer will also apply to summer tournaments, with participation applicable in both spring and summer tournaments to discounts for the national NAYS tournament. This is a step up from the limitations of previous years, when participating in NAYS summer events was the only way to secure discounts for the NAYS national tourney. Mark Garrigan, National Director, COO and CFO of NAYS, says, “NAYS staff is available to speak with any organizationteam, club, school, or group about the details, flexibility, pricing and guidelines of these new spring and summer discount packages. In addition, Illinois tournaments will be expanded to a 3-game minimum for 2014 events, which means pricing for these events will be lower for total games than other youth athletic firms.”

NAYS was founded in 1989 with one grade school team, with the goal of promoting the interest in and growth of youth basketball in a fun, positive atmosphere, where the primary focus is building athletic skill, camaraderie and fitness instead of winning numbers on the scoreboard. Now in its 25th year, NAYS has grown to encompass a nationwide network of youth basketball organizations for boys and girls in grades 4-12, hosting tournaments around the country and welcoming players from around the world. The goal is to bring an affordable, positive and memorable athletic experience to everyone. Learn more about the programs, tournaments and special pricing at www.northamericanyouthsports.org.
