Apr 01, 2015 /prREACH/ -- Daniel Nyaggah had little idea when he fashioned his first bracelet from skate shoelaces in his hometown of Placentia, California, that he would one day be at the head of a thriving company based on his passion for skateboarding and his innate design creativity. Rastaclat® has grown into an internationally-recognized brand creating innovative wristwear and other accessories, partnering with various celebrities and collaborating with likeminded brands to promote the ideas and beliefs behind the company's message of "Spreading Positive Vibrations."® In fact, Rastaclat® has become adept at merging the inner beauty of creativity with the realities of lending help to others through a variety of charitable endeavors, often using the phrase, "Banding together, one wrist at a time."

A collaborative effort with Bruce Lee Enterprises and Bait is an excellent example of the way the Rastaclat® brand has evolved from a creative concept to a concrete one that is used in a number of ways to better the lives of others. Shannon Lee and Nyaggah joined forces to provide a limited Bruce Lee inspired piece that features Bruce Lee’s trademark colors of black and yellow, as well as signature aglets in the form of nunchucks, Lee’s favorite martial arts tool. The Rastaclat® team especially enjoyed this collaboration because it embodied their vision of encouraging individual expression and style, personified by someone who did not simply create his art, but who lived it.

In a recent interview, Nyaggah shared the ideas that motivated him to found Rastaclat® and to channel his passion for skateboarding into more creative endeavors.

"I wanted to do more than simply mass produce something for people to buy," says Nyaggah. "I wanted to create a LIFE brand and not just a lifestyle brand, something that was inspired by real world experiences and not simply a trend or fad. I want our products to actually make a difference in someone’s life, for it to actually mean something to those who wear them. I want anyone to be able to show their individuality, and I think that’s exactly what Rastaclat does.”

Rastaclat®'s product line includes unique, handmade bracelets in a variety of collections such as the latest release of Dark Matter inspired by the elements of physics and the upcoming release of Fleeting Knowledge in April inspired by the psychedelic state of mind.

Today, Rastaclat is sold in over 30 different countries and carried at major action sports retailers such as Zumiez, Tillys and Pac Sun. For more information, visit http://www.rastaclat.com. You can also follow the brand on both Instagram and Twitter @Rastaclat.
