Jun 27, 2014 /prREACH/ -- Rayco Construction, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota, has received GAF's most prestigious contractor award: The GAF President's Club Award. This highly coveted award recognizes Rayco Construction as one of the "elite of the elite" among commercial roofing contractors in the United States.

GAF is North America's largest roofing manufacturer, and only GAF Master Select™ contractors can compete for its commercial President's Club Award. To qualify for this award, a commercial roofing contractor must demonstrate an exceptional level of excellence in their business, especially in the areas of Installation Excellence, Property Owner Protection, and Installer Training.

Rayco has been a GAF Master Select™ commercial roofing contractor since 2009. To become a Master Select™ contractor-- a status that less than 1% of roofing contractors nationwide have achieved--a candidate must demonstrate proper licensing and adequate insurance, have a proven reputation, and show commitment to ongoing professional training.

In 2014, Rayco is pleased to be offering GAF's EverGuard Extreme® TPO 30-year warranty -- the longest guarantee in the roofing industry. GAF's TPO single-ply membrane was designed to handle extreme demands and achieve extended weathering and aging performance. "We present the EverGuard Extreme® TPO warranty as an option to everybody," says Dave Verner, Inside Sales Coordinator at Rayco. "Warranties of this length couldn't be offered just a few years ago. Not every contractor can offer a 30-year warranty, and the cost differential is only 10 to 20 percent more than a 20-year warranty. We always try to get our customers the most for their money when it comes to warranty dollars."

Rayco continues to expand in the specialty area of metal-roof installations. According to Verner, "We now have our own in-house metal roof installers. Going outside the company never worked as well as we wanted it to, so we hired our own people to install metal roofs."

"In 2014, we intend to keep growing," says Verner, "while, at the same time, keep up the quality work that we're known for. We owe that reputation to our excellent crews and staff, most of whom have been with us for many years. When our crew gets up on a roof, they treat it as if it were their own."

Commenting on Rayco's appeal to its customers, Verner says, "We don't have any independent salesmen at Rayco; Duane and Paul, the owners, are our boots-on-the-ground salesmen, building relationships with repeat customers. Repeat business is a very big thing at Rayco." Verner continues, "Quality is also key at Rayco. We give everybody a good price, every time. We always do pre-job meetings and make it a point to keep our clients informed -- and we ensure that everyone is 100% happy when we leave that roof. Our service is pretty tough to beat."

A family-owned business with a staff of highly experienced and dependable roofing professionals, Rayco has a continuing belief in the principles of superior products, quality service, and a reputation for honesty, which have allowed it to enjoy steady growth for more than three decades. The largest TPO contractor in the Midwest, Rayco provides free estimates and inspections and offers 24/7 emergency response and service, including snow and ice removal and gutter cleaning. Rayco Construction has been a past recipient of Versico's Gold Medal Quality Award, United Products' Eagle Award, and Gulfeagle Supply's President's Club award. Rayco has an A+ accreditation with the Better Business Bureau.

Rayco Construction is involved with several charitable endeavors, including: IMARA International, an educational program helping Kenyan women to provide self-sufficient futures for themselves, their children, and their communities; Ronald McDonald House Charities, which supports families by keeping them together during a child's health crisis; People Serving People, Minnesota's largest family-focused shelter, which serves homeless children and their families; and Feed My Starving Children, a nonprofit Christian organization committed to feeding God's children hungry in body and spirit.
