Mar 17, 2014 /prREACH/ -- (San Diego, CA March 19, 2014)--Kent Clothier, CEO of Real Estate World Wide (REWW), announced Wednesday that the real estate investment education company will donate 20 laptops to Haitian relief efforts through the non-profit organization CPR-3, a disaster relief organization that serves to assist those in need, both abroad and at home.

REWW, having recently transitioned its curriculum to tablet and mobile device access, has a number of gently used laptops just sitting in their warehouse. REWW CIO Heather O'Brien said, "We're excited to send the laptops over; they're in perfect condition and loaded up with software and the latest technology. They will find good use on the island."

Clothier and O'Brien became involved with CPR-3 in late 2012 when they were looking for a way to get involved with relief efforts in Haiti.

Since then, the two have been making humanitarian trips to the island in an effort to assist the victims affected by the devastating earthquake that shook the region in 2010, leaving over a half a million children orphaned, and hundreds of thousands of survivors without shelter, food, and water.

According to its online mission statement, CPR-3 is "a faith-based organization with a driving passion to 'Breathe Life and Hope into the World.' We serve in crisis, catastrophe and extreme poverty through relief, rehabilitation and development."

E. Scott Feather, Senior Director of Operations at CPR-3 said, "CPR-3 is honored to partner with REWW in breathing life and hope into the world; specifically in Haiti. We believe that REWW is led by outstanding leaders with huge hearts, and are honored to collaborate with them anytime we get a chance. The world needs more leaders will to sacrifice and serve like this group does."

O'Brien and Clothier have been so inspired by the work of CRP-3 that they were moved to open their own non-profit organization, The Time is Now Foundation project. O'Brien is the Executive Director of the new non-profit, and has been working diligently to position the organization to be of service to those in need.

The laptops are in transport to the offices of CPR-3, where they will then be shipped to Haiti to help with relief efforts; O'Brien, Clothier, and the team at REWW plan to make their next trip to the island sometime during the spring of this year.
